Friend Zone – Only Way Out
You might not want to hear this, but I’m hoping that if you clicked this article, you might need to hear it: the only way out of the friend zone is to have mutual interest.
Far too often, people stumble upon answering this question or they have some strange technique to get someone to fall for you. However, do any of these tricks work? If so, which one? That’s what we’re all wondering, right?
In my experience, the only way out is if there’s mutual interest. Trust me, psychological tricks and playing the field games may get you a date or even a relationship, but at the end of the day, if you and the person of interest don’t like each other for your real selves, then you really haven’t gotten out of the friend zone. You have just shifted sideways into the ‘Oh, you’re about to be that ex I have awkward encounters with, zone.’
If you thought the friend zone was bad, I don’t think you’ll like this one either.
Yes, unrequited feelings suck. They hurt a lot, but nothing beats the feeling of being in a mutually loved situation. Or being in a self love situation.
I’ve learned in life that hacking your way into a person’s heart won’t give you the satisfaction your crush craves or deserves. Sometimes, it really is better to just wait until you find the person you want to be with that wants to be with you too.
In the meantime, just remember, that even if you don’t think it’s true, you’re probably someone else’s unrequited love interest. They’re probably also asking themselves how to get out of the friend zone with you, so don’t take unreciprocated feelings as a reflection of you.
You’re great. Everyone has their own thing to offer to the world and sometimes the hardest unrequited love to get over is the love you don’t give yourself back. Now gaining self-love is a neverending journey, but it’s truly a blissful one.
